About 6 years ago I took advantage of a Black Friday sale directly w the manufacturer. After about 2 weeks. The 6 qt slow cookers I bought showed up as 4 qt.
I decided to keep them but contacted the manufacturer to let them know of the mistake and see i could get a discount as the items were smaller then what I paid for. Customer service was no help. They offered to send me a label for return.
Disappointed w the response. I put on my Karen wig and started googling. I found a email for the CEO.
He responded in a few minutes and agreed. They messed up and knocking an additional 15% off made sense.
He asked if I'd like to be an ambassador. Getting 2-3 small appliances a year at no cost in return for an honest review. I replied back and enthusiastically accepted.
I've received, toaster ovens, water purifiers, commercial blenders & about 6 coffee makers at this point.
Don't underestimate the power of just asking
